Guitar donated by luthier David Haxton. This is a Gibson LG guitar. It started life in the 1960’s as an all-mahogany instrument, but Haxton improved it with a spruce top and X bracing, transforming it into an LG-2, prized among oldtime musicians. (With case)
Fiddle/violin donated by Bischofberger Violins. Full-size Karl Herrmann violin (1968). Fiddlers, this might be your chance to upgrade from the instrument you have. (With bow and case)
Painting by fiddler Greg Canote, donated by the artist. 16 in x 20 in, acrylic on canvas. If you are an alum of the Canote brothers’ string band classes or one of their many fans, you, especially, will get a kick out of this caricature of the twins.
Fiddle blanket by Jerry Gallaher donated by the artist. Designed, hand quilted and embroidered by Jerry, of the Hurricane Ridge Runners. This lovely blanket will protect your fiddle.
CD’s and DVD’s from the Old-Time Tiki Parlour donated by David Bragger. Six packages of four albums. From one of the premier publishers of oldtime and other traditional music.
Violin string sets donated by Fiddlershop. Five sets of Fiddlerman violin strings – 4/4-3/4. Fiddlers gotta have new strings every now and then.
