About the Festival
Old Growth Oldtime (OGO), Seattle’s old-time music gathering, comes to the Latvian Community Center in NE Seattle on October 9-10, 2026. OGO presents old-time music in amazing concerts, inclusive jams, hands-on workshops, and exciting square dances, and features a wide variety of musicians and musical styles.
The weekend starts on Thursday night with a hosted jam at a local restaurant/pub and continues with jamming and concerts on Friday. On Saturday, our festival artists teach a wide variety of workshops, and in the evening, there is a concert and square dance.
For information about our venue, see the Venue page.
A bit about Old-Time Music …
It’s about the music, it’s about the community, and it’s about being together as we play music with friends new and old. Whether you are new to the scene or have years of experience, all are welcome!
If you’d like to get more familiar with Old Growth Oldtime (OGO), please take a look at some of our You Tube videos.
For example, this video of a Crankie is an exceptional introduction to the music and the scene!
